Equestrian Commissions

If you are interested in an oil painting of a particular horse race,  a favourite racehorse or your own horse or pet, I am always happy to discuss a commission.  At the bottom of the page is a rough guide to typical sizes and prices (Exclusive  of  any photography or travel costs that may be incurred).

 If you are interested in a painting of a particular horse racing image or racehorse that I do not have reference for then I am able to source professional photographers' images but this does incur an added charge of  between £50 - £200 for the use of their copyright.  I usually like to take my own photographs of a subject whenever I can but if this is not practical or possible I do require good quality images, either print or digital.

 With regards to time-scale, an oil painting (depending on the size and complexity) can take from between 3 to 8 weeks to complete so if you are planning a special gift please contact me as soon as you can.
